This May, the John Price Law Firm is celebrating 30 years of legal service to the Lowcountry and state of South Carolina. In honor of 30 years, we’re highlighting the amazing attorneys that make up our team. Thank you for all you do for the John Price Law Firm and our clients!

Meet our attorney, Benjamin Parker!

Where are you from?

I was born in Fairfax, Virginia, but grew up in Marietta, Georgia.

Where did you obtain your law degree?

Charleston School of Law.

What inspired you to become a lawyer?

Wanting to help those in need.

How long have you been practicing law?

6 years.

What brought you to the John Price Law Firm?

I had met John Price on several occasions prior to joining JPLF, and he impressed me with his experience, knowledge, and overall good nature. This led to me applying for an associate attorney position here at JPLF, and I was fortunate enough to become a member of the JPLF team.

What is your favorite thing about being on the JPLF team?

I feel as though the JPLF team is more like a JPLF family, and the office a home away from home. I appreciate the camaraderie and friendships I have established, and knowing that my trust is well placed in all JPLF team members who work tirelessly with me towards the common goal of clients satisfied with a job well done.

What is your favorite thing about being a lawyer?

The days I achieve a strong outcome on a case and my client’s life is exponentially changed for the better as a result of my efforts.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, nothing is more important to me than spending quality time with my family.

Favorite spot in the Lowcountry?

My favorite spot in the Lowcountry was Cypress Gardens in Moncks Corner, before it shut down indefinitely after the “1000 Year Flood” in October, 2015. It’s where I proposed to my wife, Rachel, and we were always excited to go on swamp boat tours in hopes of spotting some gators. These days, I enjoy going to the Animal Forest at Charles Towne Landing to see otters, pumas, bobcats, and other wildlife with my wife and young daughter.

Best advice you’ve ever gotten?
